Hole 1
Transcript: The first hole remains at par 5. It is located essentially in the same location as the existing par 5 with subtle repositioning of the tees and the green complex. Earthworks will be undertaken in the second landing zone to ensure visibility of the green for the golfer playing second shot.

Hole 2
Transcript: The second hole is a par 4. This is a brand new golf hole, from tee to green. This hole is all about options off the tee and about how aggressive or conservative the golfer wishes to play it. The second shot is to a reasonably small green which looks through to the estuary in the background.

Hole 3
Transcript: The third hole is a par 3. This is a brand new hole from tee to green. Essentially the golfer turns away from the estuary and plays back in the direction of the clubhouse. It is reasonably short par 3, slightly uphill. It’s a very wide green, with competition pins on the right-hand side protected by a front-right bunker.

Hole 4
Transcript: The fourth hole is a par 4. This once again is a brand new hole from tee to green and one of the more dramatic holes on the golf course. From the tee, the green can be seen out on a small peninsula jutting out into the estuary. Once again options abound off the tee, depending on the golfer’s ability. This is one of the wider fairways on the golf course, to ensure most golfers hit the fairway.

Hole 5
Transcript: The fifth hole remains a par 4 and a short par 4 at that. The tees are repositioned out into the peninsula, adjacent to the new fourth green. This makes for a more exciting tee shot as there is a small carry across the estuary to the fairway. Earthworks are undertaken in the landing zone to make that portion of the fairway more receptive to the tee shot. A very strategic par 4 once again with options off the tee. Selective vegetation removal will take place along the estuary edge to enable the golf hole to be created.

Hole 6
Transcript: The sixth hole remains a par 4 and plays essentially in the same position. There is vegetation clearance all along the left-hand side of the golf hole, to make the golf hole more playable. Width is added in the landing zone to make the golf hole a bit more strategic, especially to the left-hand side. If the golfer played the left-hand side of the fairway, the approach shot into the green is more open and receptive.

Hole 7
Transcript: The seventh hole remains a par 3, playing uphill as it currently does. Earthworks is required in the green to lower it into the ground and make it a bit more visible from the tee box. The bunker is removed from the right-hand side of the green leaving only the left-hand side bunker in play. We totally remodeled. The hole is shortened up from 115m playing through to a 150m, but it will always play long, playing uphill.

Hole 8
Transcript: The eighth hole remains a shortish par 4, essentially in the same location as the current hole. The tees are now located directly behind the seventh green and afford a great view down across the entire golf hole. Bunkers are placed strategically on the right side of the fairway and shorten the green, enabling the golfer to choose club selection off the tee depending on their approach to the golf hole whether it be conservative or aggressive.

Hole 9
Transcript: The ninth hole has been changed to a par 5 and is still very much a work in progress, depending on the outcome for the driving range, the new golf shop and the clubhouse enviros including the new chipping and putting green. Tees are essentially in the same location but the fairway has been redirected to play adjacent to the lake. The hole is all about the second shot as the green will be essentially blind but you’ll be able to see the flag fluttering in front of the clubhouse.
